Printed on the plate around the scene is "THE BOTTLE / PLATE IV - UNABLE TO OBTAIN EMPLOYMENT / THEY ARE DRIVEN BY POVERTY INTO THE STREETS TO BEG / AND BY THIS MEANS THEY STILL SUPPLY THE BOTTLE".
