Brief Description	This 30 cm metric wooden ruler has 21 examples of native New Zealand timbers across the centre and named underneath. From left to right the timbers are: rimu, tawa, tawhai, pukatea, kahikatea, totara, silver pine, towai, kauri, rewarewa, puriri, maire, mangeao, rata, matai, kaiwawaka, tanekaha, hinau, kohekohe, taraire and miro. The ruler is marked, between the measurement scale and the samples, with "MADE IN NEW ZEALAND OF NATIVE TIMBERS". "SOVEREIGN" is stamped between the 21cm and 23cm marks.
