Brief Description This fine glazed white ceramic vase has painted in blue, red, orange, black and green glaze, decorations of flowers and peacocks that frame two identical panels either side, with a man wooing a woman and a servant kneeling behind them. A landscape of a stream, house and mountain range can be seen behind the figures.

Inscribed on the base in Japanese.
