Brief Description |
This small magazine titled "The Pupils' Paper" was compiled by pupils of the Wanganui Intermediate School and published on 1 December 1938. The body of the magazine is made of off-white paper pages and the cover is made of green paper. The magazine is filled with articles, poems, stories and illustrations by pupils of the school. The magazine is accompanied by a spare cover (b) with an alternative illustration.
Page22 featues drawings of Winnie the Pooh signed "MT" who is Margaret Timbs, the donor. Other illustrations are signed "DT", Dennis Knight Turner, who later went on to become an artist.
