Brief Description A black and white photograph of Victoria Avenue in Whanganui under snow. The photo was taken looking down Victoria Avenue towards the River Bridge, with a man and a horse coming up the Avenue towards the camera. Several people can be seen under the awnings on the right hand side and coming across the bridge. Cart wheels marks can be seen in the snow on the road and Durie Hill is coated in it.
Visible businesses are Victoria House and A. D. Willis on the left, and on the right is the Oyster Saloon and further down the J McFarlane building.
Photograph is mounted on green backing card.
