Brief Description |
Two black and white photographs of views of Whanganui, mounted back to back. The first photograph shows a view of the Whanganui River from Durie Hill looking over Barns & Higgie Auctioneers sale yards Taylorville. Moutoa Gardens and wharf are visible to the left, with Wanganui East in distance. An "x" is marked over one house and an inscription reads "Hall where Grandma Ruth Crawford used to go for holidays". The second photograph shows a view from Cook's Gardens looking towards two churches in Victoria Avenue, with Queens Park school to right on hill and a Convent in centre background. Photographs are mounted on either side of cream album paper.
