A black and white photograph showing the construction work on the Cobham Bridge over the Whanganui River. The photograph is taken from the framework of the bridge and looks back at the concrete sections that have been erected. A man is seated on the left working with a steel beam. This work was happening on the west side of the bridge which was built from the Putiki side of the river spanning across to the town side.
