A black and white aerial picture taken of the Cobham Bridge over the Whanganui River. The photo was taken from above Whanganui and looks down over the new bridge spanning the water.
The Cobham Bridge was opened by the Minister ofWorks, Mr. W.S. Goosman on Saturday the 18th November 1961. The shipping and stock yards are visible in the foreground of the photograph with Putiki on the far side of the river.
