A black and white photograph of a bus driver reattaching the lines to the cables of a trolley bus in Wellington, New Zealand. The trolley bus belonged to Wellington City Transport, and is parked outside a tall building with a verandah across the front and cars parked in front.
The photograph was possibly taken on the corner of Lambton Quay and Stout Street in Wellington. Identifiable buildings include Woolworths, Electric Refrigeration NZ ltd, and the NIMU Insurance Company.
