A black and white photograph showing the exterior of the Stewart Brothers Engineer Workshop, in Whanganui. The single storey wooden building has been painted white with the name painted in a darker colour across the top, however part of the name has been cut off the image. Eight men stand in front of the building with the office marked on the right. Six of the men wear mechanics overalls and two are in suits. Photograph has been mounted on brown backing card.
