Brief Description A black and white photograph of Victoria Avenue in Whanganui, looking towards the Post Office. Four electric trams can be seen on the road; the nearest tram is traveling to Aramoho via Glasgow Street, and the next tram is traveling to Aramoho via Dublin Street. Several horses and pedestrians also use the road. The shops lining the street include a Bookseller, Rees Jones Shoe Company, Bank of Australia, Markham and Shewan Outfitters, and the Post Office with the clock tower still present. Durie Hill can be seen in the background.
