Name/Title PHOTOGRAPH; The Wreck of the "Ururoa" on Castlecliff Beach
Brief Description A black and white photograph of the schooner "Ururoa" which wrecked off Castlecliff Beach about 3 miles from the entrance of the Whanganui River in December 1908. The photograph was taken from the beach and looks towards the shallow surf to the three-masted vessel, half submerged in the water. A stands in the water in the foreground.
Photograph has been mounted on green backing card.
