A black and white photograph of a Police Officer directing traffic at the T & G corner in Whanganui, located at the corner of Ingestre Street and Victoria Avenue. The uniformed officer stands in teh centre of hte intersection with one glvoed hand raised, with cars driving in opposite directions on either side of him. The T. & G. Corner building is signposted behind him, and The Imperial Hotel and Ngan Kee Grocers can be seen on the right. Pedestrians and cyclists also use the footpath.
