Brief Description A black and white photograph of the students of Wanganui Boy's High School, taken in December 1900. The studio portrait shows four rows of boys with a male teacher seated in the centre. The back two rows are standing on the ground, the front two rows are seated on the ground, and the two teachers are saeted on chairs in the centre.A fur rug and two potted plants are arranged in front. Two boys in the centre of the frot row hold a slate which reads "Boys' School, Wanganui, Regular attendance prize, GF Bond, J Aitken, Xmas 1900".
The photograph has been mounted on brown backing card, and was awarded to George Benson as the Second Class Prize for Attendance in 1900.
