| Brief Description |
A sepia toned photograph of the Central Infants School in Whanganui. The junior assistant (later Head Teacher) Miss Emily Blennerhassett stands on the left and the other teacher, Miss McLachlan, stands on the right. The children are arranged in the centre between them, mostly seated except for a few standing on either side of the group. The photograph wwas taken outside in front of the wooden school building with a large sahs window with one panel opened.
The photograph has been mounted on cream backing card.
