Brief Description A black and white photograph of a ship, possibly the "St Kilda", being towed out of the Whanganui River mouth towards the sea by a tug boat. The photograph was taken from the mole and looks over the water towards the large vessel with full sails up and tug steaming out towards the ocean. Another unidentified ship can be seen in the far distance, with the rocky edge of the mole on the right.
